Pleasantly surprised! Fresh homemade food, great atmosphere & wait staff, good prices!

Our server was nice enough, we were seated promptly, our server did not seem to have a great knowledge of the menu though, which puzzled me. For what seemed to be a very upscale restaurant, with matching prices, was not necessarily what we met with in the servers. Rather loud and rough around the edges. We waited so long for our food I was able to have two full cups of coffee but unfortunately after an hour after we had ordered our items, they finally came, they were cold and we decided to not eat them cold and so we left without breakfast.

A wonderful environment in which to dine. Friendly and welcoming staff. Fast service. Inexpensive prices. Fantastic food. This place has it all. I couldn't recommend it enough. We will be returning during our next visit to Brookings.

Got More No's Than Yesses Here: Big neon sign in front window stating there is breakfast here. Nope @11a. Ordered soft-shelled tacos: can I get the pico de gallo without cilantro? Nope, so here comes two tacos dry like popcorn...meat & cheese & tortilla, and that's it. No sauce in the house without cilantro. Time to leave, and hand waitress my credit card. Nope. Can't process cards. -Should have known, as the large parking lot only had two cars in it when I pulled in, and my buddy and I talked for an hour but only saw seven other customers there. -I live in the area now, but I won't come back here just to be frustrated.

I love this place. The burger is delicious and so are the veggies!

Delicious food. Nice staff. Very over priced. Not for children. This is more fine dining with a beautiful bar area..

My wife had the tuna. I had the coconut shrimp. Both were excellent. Service and drinks are great. Best place to eat in this part of this state.

Food was pretty good, but the service from Lori was incredible. She was very observant and detailed, knew the menu well and made it a great experience.

Overall we had an OK experience. When we first arrived nobody came to assist us, and there was no other patrons in the restaurant. After intentionally triggering the motion sensor we finally got our waitress. She was trying to be friendly and comedic but came across arrogant. Our burgers we ordered were good, though they left the seeds in the jalapeño on mine. The waitress made sure to refill our drinks frequently. The desserts we ordered appeared to have been previously frozen and were not appetizing at all. The price was decent for the food we received. I would not go there again, but that's my personal preference, as I know a lot of people who enjoy the restaurant.

This restaurant is no longer. It was one of my favorites but it closed.

I had the fish and chips. Very light and tasty. Waitress was awesome!

Veggie beef soup was hearty and delicious. Risotto was wonderful and the veggies were very fresh. Fish and chips with fresh halibut was amazing and the fries were super yummy. Service was excellent! Decor was very pleasant and the ambiance was very relaxing.Edit: Finally made it back for lunch! Burgers were amazingly juicy. Fries were delicious just like last time.

We celebrated our 48th Anniversary there and was super impressed. The staff was on their A game. Very helpful, knowledgable and informative. The drinks were perfect. The food was served in a timely manner and the taste and presentation was impeccable. We even called out the to thank him for a job well done. Asana Grille is a must go to dining experience.

Good food. Menu is a good mix of seafood, beef and pasta. Wine list is limited.

Visit Asana restaurant for a very good dining experience. The food is spectacular (specially the rack of lamb). The service is first rate, the full bar is really nice in a town which mostly has beer and wine if anything alcoholic at all in certain restaurants.

French toast was good. Heard some bad reviews about service but I thought it was great. Affordable upscale breakfast.

Great place with great staff. I go there at least once a week for the best burger or fish and chips in town.

The wife and I enjoyed every aspect of our breakfast. The coffee was good, my omelette was very good and the biscuits & gravy were excellent! The wife had the Southern Stack which included eggs, a biscuit w/gravy and chicken fried steak. She loved it! We will definitely be back.

The food was excellent, they were sold out of a couple menu items because of a sizable party's earlier order. The staff were freindly.

Husband enjoyed his meal. My eggs were over cooked, country potatoes burnt, not a pleasing meal. Atmosphere was nice but won't be back.

Well I wanted to give you a 5, as t of us totally enjoyed the pasta ala pollo off the lunch menu. We realized later that our friendly professional bartender/server forgot to bring us the bread and butter served with our entree. I guess we have to share the blame somewhat, but we were too busy enjoying a very tasty pasta dish. We were underwhelmed by the chicken fried steak sandwich. It was a small portion served on a hamburger bun, and we expected a larger portion served perhaps open-faced on a soft roll maybe with some gravy?? So, maybe we will give your place another trial. We so enjoy the dinners at Art Alley Grill, we may just go there instead. Please get it together. My last review was only a 3.

Had the smoked salmon pasta in cream sauce. Great flavor - but the sauce was a gloopy paste. Bread was microwaved to warm it. First and last visit.

Have tried both dinner an breakfast. Slow, disorganized, not professional and bad food. Halibut was raw and served before I finished salad. Creme brulee was not torched on top. No flavor to the hollandaise sauce and the mimosa was warm.

Food was great! Loved the atmosphere. Freundly staff and very concerned that you were comfortable and had all your needs taken care of. Would recommend this restraunt to everyone I know.

I was very confused with the bartender / waiter with his personality. I wasn't sure if he was joking or serious and my friend said he was serious so if that was the case he was rude

came in on a Saturday morning. Amazing omelette! Great service. only in town for a couple of days. Came back for breakfast Sunday..did I already say amazing omelette. Really fair price for such wonderful food. Hope to have a reason to pass through town again! - Benjamin West

A pleasant dining experience from start to finish and the food was fantastic. Our waitress was very attentive and provided some excellent recommendations. I would say without question that Asana Grill is the best choice for dinner in the Brookings area.

However, they were closing permanently! Opening another restaurant in the Harbor area..Beach Front.

I had lunch here a week ago. My friend and I were very pleased with the food and the service. I had Salmon Fettuccine Carbonara and it was great. Serving was so generous, I took some home. My friend had a Caesar salad with chicken and loved it. Service was very good and attentive. I look forward to returning to try another dish.

Our waiter was the best. Made my birthday celebration great! All of his suggestions were absolutely the best and we had my 6 yr old grand daughter and he treated her very special also. Wonderful place!

Very good service and excellent food at a reasonable price

Delicious Ribeye, amazing garlic mashed potatoes, decent side salad. Waitress was very good & kind. Most aggravating thing though, was the non-serrated knife we were given to cut our steaks with. We both left with sore hands. At least the food was delicious!

Everything is fresh made and excellent! The service is spot on also. They are very accommodating and sincere. The calamari is most likely the best I've ever had. Thank you! We'll be back for sure!

Food is excellent! We had the Northwest Stack, Tex Mex Stack and Kaluha French Toast. All of it was so very delicious! Both had Bloody Marys, mine spicy and his regular, super tasty!!!

Not good! Very slow service, Mediocre food. We had to ask for a cup of coffee 4 times!!!! Do not recommend.
